The Portland Mavericks Baseball Club made a name for itself when Bing Russell created the Mav's back in 1973.  And now the team  is coming back to Portland. Stay tuned as we get the Mav's ready for "Old School Baseball" in the USA. The Portland Mavericks Baseball Club was created with a free and independent spirit in mind. Â One without the influence of big league baseball pulling the strings. Â In the spirit and dream of Bing Russell, the original founder of the Portland Mavericks, we are bringing back the Portland Mavericks to Portland Oregon to play baseball again in a way that professional baseball has never seen before. We are changing the way baseball is played. Â We are giving back to the fans the love of the game, the love of baseball.

Old School Baseball
Baseball has a special place in most Americans hearts. Â It' the most watched sport in the United States. It's the American way. The Portland Mavericks are part of a new era in baseball that has not been seen for a long time. Stay tuned for the next chapter of American Baseball the way the game is supposed to be played.
Locker Room Tours
We don't have a locker room yet but once we do, you'll be able to take a tour for peanuts and get to look around all you want. Look, smell, take pictures, lots of selfies. Go ahead, make my day.
Mavericks Day
We are planning on making a Mavericks Day and need your help in deciding what day that should be. We will also ask the State of Oregon for a "Mavericks Day", why not !  The Portland Mavericks made such a wonderful impression with the fans of city of Portland. We will make history again.
Mavs Memorabilia
We are looking for Portland Mavericks memorabilia. If have any photos, news clippings or other memorabilia, email trish@portlandmavericksbaseball.com. We plan on collecting as much Mavericks history as we can for the website. If you have a great Mavs story to share, feel free to email it to us. Let's share that Mavs Magic.
